ビブリア古書堂の事件手帖 2 ~栞子さんと謎めく日常~ 三上延 感想

Biblia Used Bookstore Casebook 2: Shioriko-san and the Mysterious Everyday Life
By En Mikami

It always ends leaving you curious about something!

Below is my impression, which includes spoilers!

So, Mr. Gora returned to Biblia Used Bookstore! That’s great! It feels like everything has fallen into place?

Looking at the illustrations in the table of contents, Mr. Gora seems to be glaring… It’s no wonder he might be mistaken for a scary person… Does his actual personality not really match his appearance, leading to misunderstandings?

“Tsu Kazura Kisono Kakehashi.”
I couldn’t read it either… Such difficult kanji…

Ah, it can be tough to read stories with no hope… But the thought that there might be hope ahead makes you want to keep reading… Though, there’s also a part of me that wants to indulge in despair…

A Clockwork Orange has two endings. Sometimes it’s omitted, and sometimes it’s not… Hmm, curious…

Ah! The review written by Yui was originally written by Shioriko! Hmm, there are things we shouldn’t do, yet they pique our interest. Does Shioriko unconsciously use people even when she can distinguish between right and wrong? Or is it really unconscious? Even if she recognizes it as something she shouldn’t do, does she still do it if it serves her purpose? Ugh, I want to believe in her, but I still find myself doubting Shioriko…

Are Shioriko and Gora getting along well? But it’s hard to tell if Shioriko has feelings for Gora… Since Shioriko is shy and doesn’t have much experience with love, she might not realize her feelings are romantic? Or, it might seem like she has feelings for him, but in reality, she doesn’t care about him at all?

Shioriko’s deduction is amazing, but it also puts some people off…? Since she hits the nail on the head as if she’s seen everything, it might creep some people out? Hmm, Mycroft Holmes could solve mysteries just by listening to the story, but I wonder if he also faced aversion from others?

Wait, is the painting in Shioriko’s house the same one that’s on the cover of the first volume? Was that not Shioriko, but her mother? No, since there was a story about Shioriko and her mother looking alike, the cover of the first volume might be using the same composition with Shioriko as the model… But if the cover of the first volume was really her mother, then the cover of the second volume might not be Shioriko either…?

Shioriko’s mother isn’t a good person…? She even resorts to blackmail to manage the store…? Maybe she’s done other things as well…

Hmm, why did Shioriko’s mother leave…?
