九井諒子ラクガキ本 デイドリーム・アワー 九井諒子 感想

Title: “Kui Ryouko’s Doodle Book: Daydream Hour”
Author: Kui Ryouko

It was really great!

Below are some thoughts including spoilers!

Kui-san’s art is fantastic! All of them were charming! There were cute, beautiful, and cool drawings, making it an amazing doodle book!

The cover is already great! Marsil looks incredibly happy dancing, and Rios and Farin seem to have a great relationship! The winged lion and familiar on the sleeve are amusing. The quiet presence of the labyrinth rabbit is also nice.

I enjoyed the segment where they rated the leaders! Giving Marsil and Sensei around 75 points suggests that Rios still has some room for improvement. Although Rios has extensive knowledge of monsters and good judgment in critical situations, it seems there might be a bit of an obsession with monsters. On the other hand, Chilchak gets 61 points! Quite strict… I wonder what kind of leader Chilchak idealizes. Are there any characters in the story that Chilchak would rate 100 points? Farin is at 92 points, but what about the remaining 8 points? Perhaps it involves personal life, like clothing or facial hair. Farin might not have reached 100 points due to some advice or feedback.

The racial changes were interesting! In the main story, it was only the Rios party, but in the doodle book, there were various people, and it was enjoyable! Even with a change in race, everyone retained their unique characteristics. Drawing the same character in different races is impressive. Kui-san is amazing!

I laughed at the Izutsumi co-sleeping review! Especially the remarks made me grin. The highest rating is probably for Chilchak? Followed by Inutade? The good relationship between Izutsumi and Inutade may be due to Inutade’s personality, but perhaps the comfort of sleeping together is also a factor.

The cute Pattachador cheering is adorable! It could be like LINE stamps! Or are they already existing? I might check it out…

The modern clothing series is also good! Ottah seems to have a lot of cool styles. Marsil seems skilled in fashion, and Farin tends to wear loose-fitting clothes. Each character’s outfit reflects their preferences, perhaps?

Marsil in cosplay is cute! There are expressions that are typical of Marsil, and sometimes, Marsil is quite lively. I wonder if Marsil would make such expressions in childhood?

There was also a Christmas exchange corner! I wonder how many doodles were exchanged… It was enjoyable to see the reactions after the exchange. This doodle book has so many enjoyable elements!

There were also some extra-like manga stories! I particularly like the Pattachador VS series! Does Kui-san have a fondness for Pattachador?

Rios becoming a demon king with various elements was interesting. I would have liked to see an ending like that. Although this time it was done in a comedic way, if Rios were serious, the labyrinth might have become amazing. It’s a little fun to imagine!

The way to make fairies is really…? Everyone in the Canary squad used it, but did Marsil really create them exactly as described in the book? Are there other methods? Besides the raw materials, continuously giving blood for 40 weeks seems quite challenging…

Phew, it was a satisfying volume! A wonderful doodle book!
