ねこねこ日本史 シーズン1エピソード29 – 「正直すぎ、石田三成!」 感想

Neko Neko Japanese History Season 1
Episode 29 – “Too Honest, Ishida Mitsunari!”

Watching Neko Neko Japanese History, you can’t help but get interested in actual Japanese history!

Below are some thoughts containing spoilers!

Mitsunari seems to be quite well-liked! Why is he so popular? Perhaps because he seems quite sharp-witted?

Did no one understand the monkey language? They really managed to come this far without understanding it! I wonder if they somehow managed through body language…

Why was Mitsunari disliked by the military faction? Was it because Mitsunari was favored by Hideyoshi, and thus envied? Hmm, if that’s the case, it seems like he would be disliked not only by the military faction but by others as well. There’s this idea among warriors that one should advance through battle, and maybe Mitsunari didn’t fit that mold?

Water siege! Just pouring water on the castle, huh? Is it effective? I wonder if it would be effective against cats?

Why did Mitsunari end up fighting Tokugawa Ieyasu in the first place? Was it a clash between Ieyasu, who desired hegemony, and Mitsunari, who was loyal?
